Poseidon has the ability to forecast with some accuracy,  both volume and quality for an extended period of time.   Most of the production is contractually committed to Poseidon for the life of the reserves in exchange for firm capacity and a firm purchase and sale price, the pipeline can make projections based on the producer’s production profiles.  As existing projects decline and new development projects are successful and the crude is committed to Poseidon, the volume and quality of the common stream can change. In addition Poseidon has some term contracts for periods of three months or more and Poseidon can adjust the projections in advance of the change in the common stream.
